The rain also started on the fourth day of the Southampton Test

Lahore: (Dunya News) Rain started its game on the fourth day of Southampton Test. Following on, Pakistan scored 41 runs without any loss but the game was stopped due to bad weather.

On the fourth day of the third Test of the series, the follow-on national team started their second innings. When the score reached 41, it started raining and the game was stopped. Abid Ali remained unbeaten on 22 and Shaun Masood on 13.

In reply to England’s declaration of 583 for 8 in the first innings, despite captain Azhar Ali’s 141 not out, the national team was bowled out for 273 and followed by Pakistan, 269 to avoid an innings defeat.  Runs are required.
