NEW DELHI: Swashbuckling wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant scored a scintillating 89-ball century against England on Day 1 of the 5th rescheduled Test against England in Birmingham.
The quickfire ton from Rishabh is now the fastest by an Indian wicketkeeper in Test cricket.
India were in all sorts of troubles and were 64 for three in 22 overs in the morning session when Rishabh came into bat in at No.5. India then lost Virat Kohli (11) in the 25th over as the team’s downslide continued.
