Noor Ali Zadran joined an exclusive club when he struck centuries in both innings of his first-class debut, against Zimbabwe in the Intercontinental Cup in 2009. Afghanistan will be hoping that the opener will be able to set some strong platforms for the side in their qualifying matches for the main group-stage of the World Twenty20 in India. Zadran has healthy batting records in all three formats and has an ODI century to his name, having scored 114 against Canada in 2010.
